HOW DOES OUR SERVICES WORK?
OBTAINING A MARRIAGE LICENSE
You must get a Marriage License from the County Clerk’s Office (Wayne County Clerk).
Decide if you would like a formal wedding, an informal meeting or anything in between. Our services can range from a simple meeting at a coffee shop, a ceremony at a local park or at a home.
Contact our service.
We set up a location, day and time to meet.
Find two witnesses over 18 years old to sign your marriage license at the ceremony. (Or discuss our services providing witness for you.)
Decide if you would like to recite your own vows or we will provide some for you. (Various options will be available for you to choose from.)
We meet and perform your ceremony.
We fill out and sign all 3 copies.
We return two of your licenses to the County Clerk the following business day.
After we return your licenses to the County, you will be able to purchase your Marriage Certificate from them (The County will take approximately a week to process the license). The Certificate will be your official “proof” that you are legally married. You will use the Certificate to change your name or for any other legal purpose.
PRICING
Make it Legal-Signing $75
Couple with 2 witnesses ONLY, Mobile, Flexible, and available on short notice. Pre-written service that includes only the few statements needed to be legally married, you may bring your own vows, if you wish! (The fee is required in full to book the appointment. No refunds for cancellation are offered)
Elopement Ceremony (Local)-$150
My elopement package include a pre-written ceremony that is performed for the two of you and up to 12 guests. We can meet at a location of your choosing (ex.Park, Your home)
I will perform the ceremony in front of your guests, we will sign the license to make it legal and I will take care of filing the license for you. (A deposit of $75 is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance should be paid 2 weeks from wedding date. No refunds will be provided if the couple cancels.)
*Witness can be provided for an additional fee of $25 per witness (All witnesses must be over 18 years old)
*Ceremonies located more than 30 miles from my home may be subject to additional mileage fee
*All services include a free ½ hour consultation (may be by phone), ceremony service, and processing of completed marriage license. Couples are responsible for obtaining the wedding sites.
